The title Our Lady of All Nations refers to the Blessed Virgin Mary who appeared in a series of apparitions from 25 March 1945 through 31 May 1959, and a series of ecstatic Eucharistic experiences between July 1958 and May 1970.
The seer, Ida Peerdemen was an office worker with an industrial firm in Amsterdam, Holland, who while pious, had no history of mystical experiences and was subsequently subjected to a series of examinations to prove she was not delusional. The messages give instruction and advice to fight evil and assorted prophecies. Our Lady told her that the messages were intended for all the people of the world, and that instead of miracles to prove their authenticity, the truth of the revelancies and prophecies would prove themselves.
On 31 May 1996, Bishop Hendrik Bomers of Haarlem gave his nihil obstat in approving devotion to the Lady Of All Nations, three weeks before Ida’s death on 17 June 1996.
This medal is a great gift for any Catholic occasion!
